Getting a stuck wheel off a grinder shaft

Remove the grinder from its base. Place the grinder on its side with the stuck wheel facing upwards. Use a penetrating oil like BP Blaster and soak the shaft overnight. The next day, stand the grinder upright and gently wiggle the wheel back and forth to slide it off. Do not use a hammer of any kind to try to remove the wheel.
